David P. Jude
David is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investigative Officer of DPJ Consulting.
A career public servant, David retired from law enforcement in 2017 and immediately began helping local, smaller police departments make informed hiring decisions through in-depth background investigations.
Tasked with helping to solve the national recruiting crisis plaguing law enforcement, David has partnered with long time friend and talent acquisition expert Kevin Stakelum to launch Public Safety Staffing.
David understands the needs of our public service agencies and their hiring challenges. With Public Safety Staffing, we hope to help connect the dots between the professional agencies who need people and the qualified people who are looking to join the ranks of the public service industry.
Kevin Stakelum
Kevin is a seasoned talent acquisition executive with over 30 years of experience leading enterprise-level recruiting teams for globally ranked organizations. Throughout his career, he has driven major initiatives in talent acquisition, development, and management, earning recognition for his work in interview automation, employment branding, veteran and disability hiring, diversity and college recruiting, and the integration of retirees and other specialized populations into the workforce. Since 2020, as the Principal/Owner of Stakelum Recruiting Consultants, he has helped small businesses with their recruiting and talent acquisition process improvement needs.
He is a professor at the University of Tampa, teaching “Principles of Management” to undergraduate students. He provides AI based innovations for his students, along with career focused lectures featuring his extensive leadership experience in the corporate world. He has introduced a “Spotlight on Management” lecture series to the classroom which enhances classroom learning and which has resulted in over 20 offers of employment for students.
